The T-form specimens (20 cm × 8 cm) were comprised of two MDF parts in compliance with ASTM D1761 standard. Five specimens for each treatment were made and a total of 20 treatments were designed; treatments in this study are as follows:Rough as well as smooth dowel joints with 8 and 10 mm diameter, using urea-formaldehyde and poly-vinyl acetate adhesives; Screw joints, sizes 5 and 6, with or without urea-formaldehyde as well as poly-vinyl acetate adhesives; And, different kinds of RTA joints.Results indicate that different kinds of screw joints show the most powerful joints in comparison with other kinds of joints; but there was no significant difference between different kinds of screw joints. Therefore, having economical points of view in mind, screw joints size 5 is recommended to be used without adhesive.  The effect of dowel surface as independent variable was statistically significant, while the interaction effect of dowel diameter, adhesive, and quality of dowel surface on lateral shear strength, as well as the independent and interaction effects of two factors of combined wooden dowel along with joint, and adhesive on the strength of RTA joint (that has nuts) were statistically significant.    }, keywords = {Wooden dowel,Screw,Ready-to-Assemble Joints,Lateral Shear Strength,Poly-Vinyl Acetate,UREA-FORMALDEHYDE,MEDIUM DENSITY FIBERBOARD}, title_fa = {بررسی مقاومت برشی جانبی انواع اتصالهای دوبل چوبی، پیچ و الیت در تخته فیبر دانسیته متوسط (MDF)}, abstract_fa = {در این تحقیق به اندازه‌گیری و مقایسه مقاومت انواع اتصال‌های دوبل چوبی، پیچ و الیت[1] تعبیه شده در چند سازه تخته فیبر با دانسیته متوسط (MDF)[2] در برابر بار برشی جانبی[3]، پرداخته شده است. براساس استاندارد D1761, ASTM، نمونه‌های مورد آزمایش به شکل T، از دو قطعه MDF به ابعاد  ساخته شدند و تکرار در نظر گرفته شده برای هر تیمار، 5 نمونه می‌باشد. تعداد بیست تیمار مورد بررسی در این مطالعه عبارتند از: اتصال‌های دوبل چوبی آجدار و صاف با قطرهای 8 و10 میلیمتر و آغشته شده با چسب‌های اوره فرم‌آلدهید و پلی‌وینیل استات، اتصال‌های پیچ شماره 5 و6 در حالت‌های بدون چسب و آغشته شده با چسب‌های اوره فرم‌آلدهید و پلی‌وینیل استات و همچنین انواع اتصال‌های الیت. براساس نتایج بدست آمده، مقاومت انواع اتصالات پیچ فاقد اختلاف معنی‌دار آماری با یکدیگر هستند اما نسبت به سایر اتصالات مورد بررسی دارای بیشترین مقاومت و اختلاف معنی‌دار آماری می‌باشند؛ بنابراین با توجه به مسائل اقتصادی، در مواردی که حداکثر مقاومت برشی جانبی مورد نیاز است، اتصال پیچ شماره 5 بدون استفاده از چسب، توصیه می‌شود. همچنین اثر عامل نوع سطح به شکل مستقل و عوامل قطر دوبل چوبی، نوع چسب، نوع سطح به صورت متقابل دوگانه و سه‌گانه، بر مقاومت برشی جانبی اتصال دوبل چوبی و همچنین اثر 2 فاکتور تلفیق دوبل چوبی و نوع چسب مصرفی، به صورت مستقل و متقابل، بر مقاومت اتصال الیت مهره‌دار، از نظر آماری معنی‌دار می‌باشند.   1- این اتصالها را می‌توان برای تعداد نامحدودی مرتبه باز و دوباره مونتاژ کرد. 2- Medium density fiberboard 3- Lateral shear strength}, keywords_fa = {دوبل چوبی,پیچ,اتصال الیت,مقاومت در برابر بار برشی جانبی,پلی وینیل استات,اوره‌فرم‌آلدهید,تخته فیبر دانسیته متوسط}, url = {https://ijwpr.areeo.ac.ir/article_117377.html}, eprint = {https://ijwpr.areeo.ac.ir/article_117377_3b91eb137afe892f3e3a88ead3293522.pdf} }
