In current study, the effect of AKD sizing agent has been examined on the properties of papers made from recycled fibers of Atrak pulp and paper industries. Sizing of pulp suspension using AKD was conducted at levels of 0, 0.5, 1 and 1.5 % based on oven dry (OD) pulp in neutral pH (7), according to the TAPPI standard methods. Then, by preparation of handsheets with basis weight of about 60±3 g/m2, their Cobb test (60 second) and different characteristics were evaluated. According to the statistical analysis of the results, up to 1 % AKD consumption amount based on OD pulp exhibited for optimum level in internal sizing of these recycled fibers. In such AKD level, water take up of size-free papers revealed 174±7.4 g/m2, decreased to the value of about 24±1.7 g/m2 in AKD-treated papers. Further, contact angle of water droplet with the paper surface increased from 35.2º to 109.1º. Applying 1 % of AKD, paper tensile index increased to 33.2±1.01 N.m/g by 2.4 unit compared to the base paper. Apparently, such phenomena can be attributed to the AKD potential in creating hydrogen bonds which concurrent to the development of paper water repellency, resulted in improving bonding-ability of paper network. Additionally, AKD treatment led to in meaningful increase of paper opacity. This can also be attributed to the increase in filler retention in fibers network, which influences the development of light scattering from the paper surface.}, keywords = {AKD,recycled fibers,pulp,tensile index,Contact angle}, title_fa = {تأثیر آهاردهی با آلکیل کتون دایمر (AKD) بر ویژگی‌های خمیر وکاغذ تهیه‌شده از الیاف بازیافتی}, abstract_fa = {DOR:98.1000/1735-0913.1398.34.112.66.1.1578.1610 امروزه برای کاغذسازان ویژگی ممانعتی در برابر جذب آب انواع کاغذهای بسته‌بندی که بیشتر از الیاف بازیافتی تهیه می-شوند، از اهمیت زیادی برخوردار است. در این تحقیق، اثر عامل آهار آلکیل کتون دایمر (AKD) بر ویژگی‌های کاغذهای تهیه‌شده از الیاف بازیافتی صنایع خمیر و کاغذ اترک بررسی شده‌است. آهاردهی سوسپانسیون خمیرکاغذ با AKD در سطوح 0، 5/0، 1 و 5/1 درصد برمبنای وزن خشک خمیرکاغذ در pH خنثی (7) مطابق استاندارد TAPPI اعمال شد. سپس با تهیه کاغذهای با گراماژ g/m2 60±3، آزمون کاب (60 ثانیه) و ویژگی‌های مختلف آن مورد ارزیابی قرار گرفت. براساس تحلیل آماری نتایج، میزان مصرف تا 1 درصد AKD بر مبنای خشک خمیرکاغذ، سطح بهینه آن برای آهاردهی داخلی الیاف بازیافتی مورد بررسی می‌باشد. در این سطح AKD، جذب آب از مقدار g/m2 ±7 4/174 در نمونه کاغذهای بدون آهار به حدود g/m2 ±1 7/24 در کاغذ آهارشده با AKD کاهش یافت. زاویه تماس قطره آب با سطح کاغذ از 2/35 درجه به 1/109 درجه افزایش یافت. شاخص کششی کاغذ آهارشده با 1 درصد AKD تا حدود N.m/g 01/1±2/33 باندازه 4/2 واحد نسبت به کاغذ پایه افزایش یافت. بنظر می‌رسد این پدیده به‌علت قابلیت AKD در برقراری پیوندهای هیدروژنی ‌باشد که همزمان با ایجاد آبگریزی کاغذ، منجر به توسعه قابلیت پیوندیابی شبکه کاغذ شده است. همچنین تیمار AKD ماتی کاغذ را بطور معنی‌داری افزایش داده است. این امر را نیز می‌توان به افزایش ماندگاری پرکننده در بستر فیبری الیاف نسبت داد که منجر به توسعه شکست نور از سطح کاغذ می‌شود.}, keywords_fa = {آلکیل کتون دایمر,الیاف بازیافتی,خمیرکاغذ,شاخص کششی,زاویه تماس}, url = {https://ijwpr.areeo.ac.ir/article_118591.html}, eprint = {https://ijwpr.areeo.ac.ir/article_118591_4154fcb5a2d32b3dca85e051e574f209.pdf} }
