The lignin dissolution in Kraft pulping for wheat straw was studied. Kraft pulping was carried out under the conditions: chemical charge of 18% (as NaOH, based on o.d. bagasse), sulfidity of 25% and liquor to wheat straw ratio of 10:1. Six cooking maximum temperatures of 85,100,110,120,130 and 150 ◦C, were selected and reaction time varied from 0 to 250 min. based on maximum temperature. The Klason lignin, acid soluble lignin, ash and extractive contents of wheat straw were 18.4%, 2.07%, 3.24% and 4.56 respectively.
During alkaline pulping of wheat straw, about 64% and 52% of lignin was removed before reaching to the temperature 100 ◦C and 85 respectively. The values pulp and carbohydrates yield were, about 64%, 58% for 85 ◦C and 61%, 57% for 100◦C.

This research was performed to investigate fiber biometrical properties (length, diameter and fiber thickness) of hornbeam species from Astara in Iran. Initially, disks were prepared with three trees of hornbeam species and then fiber isolation was carried out using Franklin method. Length, diameter and wall thickness of fiber provided were determined by laboratory microscope using eye scaled lens. The measurement of fiber dimensions was made at the pith region and at the distances of 2,6,12 and 15 centimeters and four geographical sides. The results indicated that length, diameter and wall thickness of fiber increased significantly with enhance of distance from pith. The highest fiber length, diameter and wall thickness obtained were 1.509 mm, 23.93 µm and 3.897 µm, respectively. The consequences attained from changing of fiber dimensions at various distances from pith to bark indicated that fiber dimensions change decreased by increase in distance from pith up to 15 cm and the highest change of fiber was observed at distance of 2-6 cm from pith. The results of measuring the fiber dimensions at various geographical sides didn't indicate any significant deference between the values of fiber length, diameter and wall thickness at 1% level of probability. The combined effects of distance from pith and different geographical sides also did not show any significant deference on fiber dimensions.

Okaliptus is a fast –growing and light – liking tree that its trunk is smooth and is shelled spontaneously. n a short time its diameter and height increase.for its fast growing. So that turing it into things is difficult Fiber s traction is high and deksity is 0.55 to 0.58 a square centimeter. The samples were prepared from the branches and trunk of Ocalyptus Kameldolensis with the average old of three years, from Jiroft region in Kerman province. After ordaining the age and having samples from the same age , some discs were prepared for cutting to measure fibers.Making ready and suspension of fibers were done in Fraklin method .Measuring amaout of lignin was done to standard no: T222- om – 88 and TAPPI guide directions . Measuring cellulose was done according to Nitric Acid method and due to standard No : T264 – om – 88 , and TAPPI guide directions. Due to results the length of trunk fibers was 811.36 and branches was 845.68 micro meters.Diameter of trunk fibers is 19.3 but branches 15.64, these amounts don,t have a meaningful differnce the level of 5&1 percent . Diameter of the carity of rrunk fibers was 10.71, but branches 3.44 at the level of 5&1 percent , they don,t have a meaningful difference. The amount of extracted articles of trunk is 4/5 but branches 2.3 percent ,and amount of lignin in trunk was 35.66 but in the branch 24.66, and amount of cellulose in trunk was 55.66 and the branch 46.81 percent which at the level of 5&1 percent have a meaningful difference . The amount of Ashes from trunk was 0.73 but from the branch 0.88 that at the level of 5&1 percent , don,t have a meaningful defference.
