The use of renewable energies, such as biomass, is becoming increasingly important as countries realize that bioenergy present an approach to their international commitments to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Biomass with higher thermal energy value and optimal composition is more desirable for the thermal conversion systems. In present investigation, properties of ten type's wood biomass relevant to combustion were evaluated. Important characteristics requiring analysis for the biomass were moisture and ash content, volatile matter, elemental composition (C, H, N, S, and O), and high and low heating values (HHV and LHV). The heating value has been determined based on experimental and computational methods by colorimeter bomb and elemental content, respectively. The results showed that eldarica pine biomass had the highest content of biomass sulfur, which is undesirable environmental factor in the bioenergy system. Regarding to the fixed carbon to volatile matter ratio, Citrus sinensis var. thomson has the lowest ratio, so it is the best biomass for the gasification process. The highest and lowest heating values were determined for the poplar pruning residues (group a) and apple (group b and c), respectively. The highest and lowest of HHV and LHV were measured for P. deltoides and Malus spp., respectively.

In this study, the possibility of using ash and orange bleached CMP pulp as replace in the full or part of CMP pulp of Mazandaran Wood and Paper Industries (MWPI) for making newsprint was investigated. For this purpose, first, ash and orange CMP pulps were prepared by using cooking conditions of MWPI with 101 gr/lit Na2O at the yield 85% in 75 minutes. Then some of the CMP pulps bleached with hydrogen peroxide, then its mixed samples with 15, 30, 45 and 60 percent to CMP pulp mill (control sample). From the mixed pulps provided hand sheets with 60 gr/m2 and these optical and mechanical properties measured and the data average were analyzed and compared. The results showed that newsprint from ash CMP pulp were more suitable than CMP pulp mill in all measured properties (except brightness) and orange CMP pulp (except opacity). Following bleaching with hydrogen peroxide, the brightness, tear, burst, tensile and breaking length strengths increased and opacity decreased. The results showed that ash and orange unbleached CMP pulps are not good properties for newsprint production and these pulps have to bleach with hydrogen peroxide. In generally, the best mixed pulps were includes 45-60 percent ash and orange bleached CMP pulps with 40-55 percent MWPI CMP pulp for newsprint production.

Okaliptus is a fast –growing and light – liking tree that its trunk is smooth and is shelled spontaneously. n a short time its diameter and height increase.for its fast growing. So that turing it into things is difficult Fiber s traction is high and deksity is 0.55 to 0.58 a square centimeter. The samples were prepared from the branches and trunk of Ocalyptus Kameldolensis with the average old of three years, from Jiroft region in Kerman province. After ordaining the age and having samples from the same age , some discs were prepared for cutting to measure fibers.Making ready and suspension of fibers were done in Fraklin method .Measuring amaout of lignin was done to standard no: T222- om – 88 and TAPPI guide directions . Measuring cellulose was done according to Nitric Acid method and due to standard No : T264 – om – 88 , and TAPPI guide directions. Due to results the length of trunk fibers was 811.36 and branches was 845.68 micro meters.Diameter of trunk fibers is 19.3 but branches 15.64, these amounts don,t have a meaningful differnce the level of 5&1 percent . Diameter of the carity of rrunk fibers was 10.71, but branches 3.44 at the level of 5&1 percent , they don,t have a meaningful difference. The amount of extracted articles of trunk is 4/5 but branches 2.3 percent ,and amount of lignin in trunk was 35.66 but in the branch 24.66, and amount of cellulose in trunk was 55.66 and the branch 46.81 percent which at the level of 5&1 percent have a meaningful difference . The amount of Ashes from trunk was 0.73 but from the branch 0.88 that at the level of 5&1 percent , don,t have a meaningful defference.
