In this study, two times of 60 and 90 minutes with two temperatures of 150○C and 180○C were used for the hydrothermal treatment, and boric acid with concentrations of 1, 3 and 5% dissolved in water used for the impregnation treatment. The measurement of the characteristics, including bending strength, impact resistance, volumetric swilling and fire resistance (weight loss due to fire) were done by ASTM-D143, ASTM-D256, ASTM 4446-2002 and ISO 11925 standards, respectively. About fire resistance, 5% boric acid treatment showed the least weight loss due to burning in the wood of two species. As a result of the hydrothermal treatment alone, the fire resistance was even lower than the control. In this regard, the combination of hydrothermal treatment with boric acid treatment resulted in results close to those of hydrothermal with boric acid treatment. Positive effect of hydrothermal treatment on the improvement of dimensional stability, is considered as one of the results of the present study. The temperature of 180○C with a time of 90 minutes reduced the swelling of poplar and radiata pine by about 36.8 and 42%, respectively. Regarding impact resistance, the effect of hydrothermal treatment on the wood of both species and the effect of boric acid treatment on radiata pine wood were negative. Hydrothermal treatment at a temperature of 180○C and with a time of 90 minutes decreased the impact resistance by 28.2% in the wood of both species, and 5% boric acid treatment caused a 13.3% decrease in this property in radiata pine wood.}, keywords = {Thermal treatment,Boric acid,Dimensional stability,fire resistance}, title_fa = {اثر تیمار حرارتی و اشباع با اسید بوریک در ویژگی‌ها و مقاومت به آتش چوب صنوبر و کاج رادیاتا}, abstract_fa = {هدف اصلی این مطالعه ارزیابی اثر تیمار آب‌گرمایی به همراه اسیدبوریک بر برخی ویژگی‌های فیزیکی و مکانیکی و مقاومت به آتش چوب دو گونه صنوبر (Populus nigra) و کاج رادیاتا (Pinus radiata) بود. در این مطالعه برای تیمار آب‌گرمایی از دو زمان 60 و 90 دقیقه با دو درجه حرارت ○C150 و ○C180 و برای تیمار اشباع از اسید بوریک با غلظت‌های 1, 3 و 5 درصد محلول در آب استفاده گردید. اندازه‌گیری ویژگی‌های مورد بررسی شامل مقاومت خمشی، مقاومت به ضربه، واکشیدگی ضخامت و مقاومت به آتش (کاهش وزن بر اثر آتش) بترتیب توسط استانداردهای ASTM-D143 ، ASTM-D256 ، ASTM 4446-2002 و ISO 11925 صورت پذیرفت. در خصوص مقاومت به آتش تیمار 5 درصد اسید بوریک کمترین کاهش وزن را بر اثر سوختگی، در چوب دو گونه نشان داد. این در حالی بود که بر اثر تیمار آب‌گرمایی به تنهایی مقاومت به آتش حتی کمتر از شاهد گردید. در این ارتباط تلفیق تیمار آب‌گرمایی با تیمار اسید بوریک باعث نتایج نزدیک به با تیمار اشباع با اسید بوریک شد. در خصوص تاثیر مثبت تیمار آب‌گرمایی بر بهبود ثبات ابعادی که از نتایج مطالعه حاضر به‌شمار می‌رود، دمای ○C180 با زمان 90 دقیقه واکشیدگی 24 ساعت چوب دوگونه صنوبر و کاج رادیاتا را به ترتیب حدود 8/36 و 42 درصد کاهش داد. در رابطه با مقاومت به ضربه اثر تیمار آب‌گرمایی بر چوب هر دو گونه و تأثیر تیمار اسیدبوریک بر چوب کاج رادیاتا منفی بود. تیمار ○C180 با زمان 90 دقیقه باعث کاهش مقاومت به ضربه در حدود 2/28 درصد در چوب هر دو گونه شد و تیمار 5 درصد اسید بوریک کاهش 3/13 درصد این وِیژگی را در چوب کاج رادیاتا سبب شد.}, keywords_fa = {تیمار حرارتی ",اسید بوریک,واکشیدگی ضخامت,مقاومت به ضربه,مقاومت به آتش}, url = {https://ijwpr.areeo.ac.ir/article_127718.html}, eprint = {https://ijwpr.areeo.ac.ir/article_127718_bcbb2b3da96bbbfa8f924c867f6ca538.pdf} }
