مجله تحقیقات علوم چوب و کاغذ ایران از سال 1374 به همت پژوهشگاه جنگل ها و مراتع ایران منتشر می شود. مؤسسه تحقیقات جنگل ها و مراتع دارای حق چاپ مجله می باشد. مجله صنایع چوب و کاغذ ایران مقالات همتا، مقالات مروری، گزارش های فنی و گزارش های موردی را در موضوعات زیر پوشش می دهد:

  • زیست شناسی و حفاظت از چوب
  • اصلاح چوب
  • محصولات چوبی و کامپوزیت های چوبی
  • نانوتکنولوژی در علوم چوب و کاغذ
  • تکنولوژی خمیر و کاغذ سازی
  • فرآوری شیمیایی چوب
  • اقتصاد و بازاریابی محصولات چوبی

و کلیه مسائل صنعتی و فنی مرتبط با صنعت چوب و کاغذ.

این مجله در حال حاضر به صورت فصلنامه منتشر می شود و بر اساس پایگاه اطلاعات علمی (SID) در سال 2017 دارای بیشترین تأثیر (IF=0.160) در بین دسته جنگلداری است. چکیده های انگلیسی در انتشارات CABI ( www.Cabi-Publishing.org ) نمایه شده اند
