Background and Objectives: The Covid-19 pandemic caused serious challenges to various industries of wooden products in various aspects such as access to raw material, supply chain, production and sales volume of product and even customer preferences. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the mediating role of government support in relation to revising some adopted policies such as investment strategies, creating resilience in industries and improving financial knowledge of managers of these industries in order to increase production of various wooden furniture products in the post-corona era was done.Methodology: In terms of its nature, this research is fundamental-applied and in terms of the type of research, it is a part of mixed research including quantitative and qualitative variables. The study population consisted of 180 managers of home and office furniture manufacturing companies based in Tehran and Alborz provinces, from which 120 were selected through the Cochran formula. Field-library methods are used to collect preliminary information as needed, the main tool for collecting information for this research is a questionnaire approved by academic experts. The used questionnaire includes 22 questions related to research variables, including resilience, government support as a moderating variable, investment strategies, financial knowledge and production growth. Also, the scale used is a 5-point Likert scale. In this research, Cronbach's alpha coefficient, composite reliability and extracted average variance were used to determine the reliability and convergent validity of the questionnaire. In order to analyze the internal structure of the questionnaire and discover the constituent factors of each structure or variable, the confirmatory factor analysis tool was used. Also, to check and analyze the data, descriptive and inferential statistics were used using SPSS software, and to check the relationships between variables, structural equation method based on the use of Smart-Pls software was used. Results: The results of correlation between the variables show that at a significance level of 1%, the highest correlation is between financial knowledge variables with investment strategies, and the lowest correlation is between government support variables with production growth. Also, the reliability check of the questionnaire shows that there is reliability and convergent validity in the questions. The results of examining the measurement model using confirmatory factor analysis show that the items of the model are correctly defined and it is not recommended to remove any of them, because the values of the factor loadings are higher than the minimum acceptable value, i.e. 0.3. This study showed that there is a positive and significant relationship between investment strategies, resilience and financial knowledge as independent variables and positive growth as a dependent variable. Research findings show that the government support component is also related to production growth. It has a positive and significant relationship. In relation to the role of government support as a mediating variable in the relationship between investment strategies, resilience and financial knowledge on production growth of wooden furniture industry, the results show an effective relationship. In all these research hypotheses, the significance level of the p-value test is less than 5% and the T value is outside the range (1.96, -1.96), so it is significant with a 95% confidence factor. Conclusion: The results of this research revealed that in the post-corona era, wooden furniture industry may face new developments and changes. These changes can include changes in the needs and tastes of customers, the process of marketing and selling products, the use of environmentally friendly products, changes in the structure of companies and the necessity of creating industrial holdings, the necessity of using new technologies in production of various products in furniture industry and decoration, paying more attention to firm's internal structures to increase the level of resilience, using managers with extensive financial knowledge to deal with fluctuations of firm's financial assets. Also, in the post-corona era, government support for wooden furniture industries can play an important role in impact of investment strategies, resilience and financial knowledge on production growth of these industries.

Background and objectives: From the limitations of detecting the amount of useful life remaining in the components of the structures in the conditions of use with acoustic methods is the impossibility of calculating the modulus of elasticity due to the impossibility of removing the part from the structure. Therefore, most of the classifications during use in the components of structures such as historical buildings are based on measuring the speed of sound. In this research, to calculate the local and global density with the method of pin penetration rate in wooden tie in order to calculate the amount of their remaining useful life by combining stress wave and free longitudinal vibration methods has been studied. There was no significant difference between the values of global sound velocity and global modulus of elasticity with the local results of these factors at the five tested points in each of the wooden tie.Methodology: The number of three saturated wooden tie from Iran Railway Company and with the dimensions of 15x25x260 cm, which are made of beech species (Fagus orientalis) and the density was measured by pin penetration method at 5 points of each wooden tie (50 cm distance between each point) and the average results of 5 points were compared with the results of ISO 13910 standard method. The stress wave test was carried out at the same 5 points of density determination by pin penetration rate method to determine the local modulus of elasticity and the results of each point were compared with the global modulus of elasticity of the beam. Longitudinal vibration test was also performed to calculate the damping factor values of the samples. Results: The results showed that there was no significant difference at the 95% level between the values calculated with both the ISO 13910 standard methods and the pin penetration rate method, and there was a favorable linear correlation between the results of the two methods. According to the results, there was no significant difference between the global sound speed of the beams and their local sound speed in any of the five measured points at the 95% level and there was a linear correlation between the values of the global sound speed and each of the five local points. There was no significant difference at the 95% level between the values of the global modulus of elasticity and the values of the local modulus of elasticity calculated in each of the five points. Also, there was a linear correlation between the values of the global modulus of elasticity and the results of the local modulus of elasticity in each of the five points. There was an exponential correlation between the values obtained from the global modulus of elasticity and the damping factor of each of the wooden tie. Conclusion: The equality of density according to the ISO 13910 standard method and the nail penetration method, as well as the equality of the modulus of elasticity calculated by the stress wave method and the free longitudinal vibration method, make it possible to obtain all the data required for calculations without removing the part from the structure. The remaining strength of wooden components should be provided according to EN338 standard.

The first step in feasibility study of any national mega projects in energy sector is the investigation on the production potential and evaluate the market demand for the product. The success rate of a biofuel project after forecasting supply and demand depends on choosing the appropriate place to produce. In this respect, factors such as the selection of appropriate production site, environmental, technical, economic and social are among major issues. In this study, autoregressive integrated moving average (ARIMA) model was used for the prediction of bioethanol demand in five sceneries; E5, E10, E15, E20 and E30. The time period up to 1412 is foreseen. The data on agricultural wastes and the present and future potentials for the bioethanol production in different provinces is analyzed. The results indicate that, the average daily consumption of gasoline will increase to 136,922 million liters per day as we reach 1412.The study also shows that there exists the potential for the production of 18.16 million liters of bioethanol which can fulfill the requirement of E5 and E10 by 1412. If we want to implement the E20 and E30 scenario in the country, it is necessary to increase the production of 7 selected products in this research, in the provinces of Khuzestan, Fars, Khorasan Razavi, Golestan, Isfahan, Mazandaran, Tehran, Qazvin and Alborz and Gilan by 62.2 million tons per year by 1412, And consider the effective factor in the success of the project, namely the support of the government and legislators for national mega projects.

Reaching to the technology of acoustical Tomography and imaging, this project was ordered for facilitating the work for green space researchers and managers in urban standing trees. Comparing the sensors and micro-second timers with those of a certified European device in radial to tangential and longitudinal directions showed a good agreement for the Iranian made device. So, a new horizon was opened for the researchers of this approach supported by the local scientific knowledge and technology. Holding this technology, the selected trees concerning the collar defect symptoms were firstly inspected visually, then the visual accuracy was monitored by sonic tomography. Some trees were extremely defected internally, while the visual inspection showed their intactness (9 from 23). Meanwhile some trees holding visually defect signs were proved to be intact after carrying the tomography images (up to 10 from 53). It is concluded that the visual tree defect inspection is not satisfactory for saving or omitting the individual and these kinds of decision makings must be supported by the methods showing the hidden discontinuities.

The effect of lamination and adhesive coverage rate in layered products made from Poplar wood was studied The effect of lamination and adhesive coverage rate in layered products made from Poplar wood was studied by non-destructive free vibration test. 120 samples with nominal dimensions of 2.5×2.5×45 cm without any obvious deficiencies were selected and free flexural vibration in free-free bars were performed for testing them. Samples were longitudinal cut in three thinner tangential layers and jointed together again using Poly Vinyl Acetate glue. The specimens were divided into four groups according to adhesive coverage rates, which one group was fully glued and 3 groups were carrying some glue deficiencies in different rates. Manipulated samples were tried again in above mentioned test. Results indicated that shear moduli compare to modulus of elasticity is a more sensitive parameter to evaluate glue efficiency in laminated beams but concerns remained due to blind points in flexural vibration nondestructive method.

To compete in value creating and attempt to achieve sustainable competitive advantage and a strategic advantage over competitors have resulted in an increased attention to the importance of customer and his/her satisfaction. This is particularly important in extensive furniture and wood industry that deals with a wide range of customers with different tastes and attitudes. As a result, this study using library research and customer survey, attempts to identify factors influencing customer satisfaction and determine their relative impact using TOPSIS as one of the most important multi-criteria decision-making methods. The results indicate that the developed conceptual model consists of six major indexes—beauty and appearance, quality, competitive pricing, distribution and delivery systems, after-sale and support services and 35 sub-indexes. Ranking the sub-indexes reveal that the sub-indexes: fitting to indoor space; fabric, foam, and wood parts quality; product durability according to purchase price; on-time delivery; sales person’s honesty and responsiveness to provide technical knowledge; and the superiority of the household wood furniture in comparison to other similar products are the most important factors that affect customer satisfaction. On the other hand, Sub-indexes of size and volume, maintainability, purchase facilities provided by the company, method of installation, availability of product specification manual, and the environmental factors are found to have the least impact on customer satisfaction.

Abstract: In the recent years due to the innovations taking place in the production, packaging and shipping of furniture, world trade of these products has grown substantially. This issue along with some outstanding problems in manufacturing and marketing various kinds of wooden has caused that furniture imports to Iran has enjoyed significant growth .In order to achieve the efficient and economic import, identify all factors that the perspective of experts led to prefer these products in compared with similar domestic production will be essential, therefore in this research in order to investigate the reasons for the expansion of the import quantities, the standardized questionnaires (certified by professionals and academic professors in four groups: Economics, Environment, Technical and Technological, and Consumption) are provided by use of documentary and survey research methods to investigate the effective indices on importing wooden furniture to Iran in order to describe the reasons of its widespread throughout Iranian experts. These main indexes indices of imports are rated by three methods: Likert spectrum, Duncan Test, and relative importance ratio of each index. We applied Likert spectrum on the whole statistical population and it shows that Environment index holds the first rank and Consumption, Technical and Technological, and Economics indexes are followed respectively. Duncan test shows Economics index has the first rank, Environment index holds the second place. Technical and Technological index are in the same place as Consumption index and according to the test there is no meaningful differences between them. On the other hand, using the relative importance ratio method we classified related occupations into 4 groups: producers, vendors/ distributers, importers, and consumers. We employed third method to see how these four groups evaluate the importance of each index. Results are as follows: PRODUCERS believe that Environment index is in the first place and then Economics, Technical and Technological, and finally Consumption index. VENDORS/DISTRIBUTORS believe Consumption, Technical and Technological, Economics, and Environment index is the sequence. IMPORTERS believe that Consumption index is in the main priority and then Technical and Technological, Economics, and Environment hold next places.

Corrugated board is considered as a valuable community for packaging at both international and domestic markets. Therefore for the development of corrugated board industry in Iran and to understand the variation in demand for this product, it's necessary to identify the consumption and production patterns as well as the most important and effective variables influencing it's status. Then the demand & supply for corrugated board can be forecasted. In this study, the dynamic econometric model has been used to demonstrate simultaneous relationship between supply and demand. Coefficients of the model were estimated using 3sls method with the time series data from 1981 to 2007. The results indicated that in the demand function, intercept, price, GNP in previous period, population, CPI, industrial added value(Iav), production index of large-scale industries(PILSI) and the war dummy variables are significant at 0.05 level. In the supply function, intercept, production quantity in previous period, inflation rate, corrugated board price-raw material price ratio in previous period, import quantity in previous period, cost price all in previous period and subsidy dummy variables are significant at 0.05 level. Results indicate that the mentioned variables influence consumption and production, simultaneously. The results of projection also demonstrate that corrugated board production & consumption will increase into 2012.

The impact of chemical treatment variables including treatment time and temperature, chemical charge as well as pulp freeness on fiber quality of Colza stem chemi-mechanical pulp was studied using Fiber Quality Analyzer (FQA). Three treatment times (15, 30 and 45 minutes), two treatment temperatures (125 and 145 °C), two chemical charges (4% NaOH + 8% Na2SO3 and 8% NaOH +12% Na2SO3) as well as pulp refining were evaluated. The results revealed that at higher values of treatment variables, fiber average length was reduced and varied between 0.49 and 0.65 mm. However, the influence of pulp refining on fiber average length was not very pronounced. Pulps contained between 55 -63 % fines, which is on the high range and refining increased the fine content by 5%. Fiber coarseness varied between 10 and 41 mg/100m which was raised to 14 and 53 mg/100m upon refining. Even though refining did not alter fiber curl, but fiber kinks were increased.

Total and per capita consumption of fluting paper was calculated using data and information from production, import and export for last decades. Then based on the fact that consumption of paper and paper products is a function of both per capita consumption and population of any country, regression analysis was used to predict per capita consumption for the period of 1994-2003, total consumption for the period of 2006-2011 as well as the year 2021. Finally based on the calculated consumption of different papers and considering the present and future capacities for paper production, the shortage of paper was derived. Results showed that the fluting paper consumption for the year 2021, will reach 290000 tons which causes 200,000 tons of shortage per year. This shortage will require that almost 70% consumption need to be fulfilled by import.
