چکیده

سابقه و هدف: خواص فیزیکی، بیومتری و مکانیکی چوب، شاخص مهمی برای ارزیابی کیفیت و کاربردهای صنعتی و اکولوژیکی گونه‌های مختلف چوب محسوب می‌شوند. چوب ارس (Juniperus excelsa) به دلیل رشد کند و ساختار سلولی خاص، ویژگی‌های منحصربه‌فردی ازنظر دانسیته و مقاومت مکانیکی دارد. بااین‌حال، اطلاعات کمی درباره تغییرات این خواص در محورهای شعاعی و طولی تنه درخت وجود دارد. هدف این مطالعه، بررسی و تحلیل تغییرات خواص فیزیکی، بیومتری و مکانیکی چوب ارس در محورهای شعاعی و طولی و شناسایی الگوهای تغییرات از مغز به پوست و از پایین به بالای تنه بود.
مواد و روش‌ها: سه اصله درخت سالم ارس در منطقه کوه‌های هزار مسجد درگز انتخاب و از هر درخت سه دیسک از ارتفاع سینه، 3 و 6 متر برداشت شد. از هر دیسک، سه نمونه در محور شعاعی از مغز به سمت پوست برای اندازه‌گیری خواص فیزیکی (دانسیته خشک، دانسیته بحرانی و هم‌کشیدگی حجمی)، بیومتری (طول تراکئید، قطر تراکئید و ضخامت دیواره سلولی) و مکانیکی (مقاومت خمشی و مدول‌الاستیسیته) تهیه گردید. داده‌ها با استفاده از آزمون تجزیه واریانس دوطرفه برای تحلیل اثر محور شعاعی و طولی بر خواص چوب مورد بررسی قرار گرفت.
نتایج: میانگین دانسیته خشک و دانسیته بحرانی به ترتیب 442/0 و 413/0 گرم بر سانتی‌متر مکعب و میانگین هم‌کشیدگی حجمی، 80/10 درصد بود. طول تراکئید 572/1 میلی‌متر، قطر تراکئید 41/31 میکرومتر و ضخامت دیواره سلولی 58/5 میکرومتر، مدول‌خمشی 66/41 مگاپاسکال و مدول‌الاستیسیته 47/4 گیگاپاسکال تعیین گردید. یافته‌ها نشان می‌دهند که خواص فیزیکی، بیومتری و مکانیکی چوب ارس به‌شدت تحت تأثیر موقعیت نمونه‌برداری در محور شعاعی و طولی تنه قرار دارند و الگوهای مشخصی از تغییرات خواص از مغز به پوست و از پایین به بالای درخت قابل تشخیص است.
نتیجه‌گیری: این اطلاعات می‌تواند برای کاربردهای صنعتی چوب ارس و مدیریت منابع جنگلی این گونه اهمیت داشته باشد.
